The Riverside College Alumni Association is the community of everyone who has studied at Riverside College since 1966: every year group, every course, wherever life has taken them since.
What we are for
Three things, mostly. Helping former students find each other again. Giving something back to the college and to the students who follow us. And keeping a record of it all, so the next generation inherits more than a building.
What we do
- Keep a verified register of members, searchable by year, city and profession
- Organise reunions, from the annual dinner to the ten, fifteen and twenty-five year gatherings
- Run a mentoring programme and a jobs and referrals board
- Raise money for scholarships, the library and the boathouse, and report every gift at the AGM
- Collect photographs and memories before they are lost
How we are run
A committee of volunteers elected at the AGM each autumn, supported by batch representatives for every year group and chapter leads in eleven cities. Minutes, accounts and election results are published to members in the Association section of Riverside Connect.
Membership
Registering is free. If you studied here, for one year or for four, this association is already yours, and it takes about two minutes. Paid membership is optional.
