An evening of readings for Eleanor Whitcombe

Former students and colleagues read the poems Mrs Whitcombe set, loved and occasionally banned, in the library where she held her Friday readings for thirty-three years. Her family joined us, and a collection for the library raised enough for two new shelves of poetry.
