Every gift made during the 48 hours goes to the Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Fund, and every gift is matched, one for one, until the match is used up. Year groups compete on the number of donors, not the amount: 5 from a new graduate counts the same as 500. The board is updated as gifts are recorded.
